Parents to become Silver Volunteer

Branch County 4-H is asking ALL PARENTS to complete the SILVER Volunteer process so that they can help with their club and members in activities as the leader needs.

This 4-H SILVER volunteer process is similar to the screening that schools require of parents so that they can be in their children's classrooms or churches as well.

We believe this process is for our children to make sure that they are SAFE as we can keep them.

We hope to have every Branch County 4-H parent goes through the background check at Volunteer Central by April 15, our deadline for members to be a part of 4-H for the 2019-20 4-H year. It’s pretty simple, just go to the volunteer central website (https://msu.samaritan.com/custom/502/#/volunteer_home ) and you will go through these steps through the system:
  • Application Submission & Review
  • Criminal History Check
  • Sexual Offender Check
Once your application is submitted, you can always see where you are in the process by visiting the Check Status page. The system will remind you in the future if the Criminal History Check needs updated.

We thank you for your help in keeping our kids safe!!
