Please help promote the 2020 Branch County 4-H Foundation/Irene
Brown Scholarship. As you know the scholarship was set into motion
by Irene Brown to help Bronson Area youth to receive scholarship funds to study
agriculture. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the
criteria below. Thanks for your help!
Criteria for selection:
Must
be pursuing education in an agriculture career.
2 Must
live in the Bronson, Michigan area (Bronson mailing address or attend Bronson
Schools).
3 Minimum
2.5 GPA to apply, 2.3 to continue receiving scholarship funds. (Grades must be
submitted to receive payment for the following year’s scholarship amount.)
Demonstrate
financial need.
Applicants
pursuing the 4-year scholarship must be considered a full time student.
6 Must
be a high school senior or older.
7 Must
include a copy of high school and/or college transcript.
8 This
form may be typed or hand written but neatness is expected.
9 Must
complete and return the application to the MSU Extension Office by April 2
1 Must
complete the interview process with the selection committee on April 22 at MSU
