Shooting Sports

 Guidelines for Shooting Sports Notebook

    Shooting Sports Members must enter Section 299 (Class 2990 8-11 years old, Class 2991 12-14 years old, 2992 15 years and older) on their premium statements and return to the fair office by the deadline.

    Notebook must be turned into your leader at the practice before the county shoot.

    If not submitted by the specific date, that member will not be allowed to shoot at county or at state.

    One to two judges with a working knowledge of shooting sports will be hired to read the notebooks.

    Notebooks must be complete with appropriate answers in all sections.

     A minimum of one topic must be chosen and discussed each year. It must be in the notebook.

    The topic section may consist of pictures or diagrams illustrating techniques or a list. It may be in essay form if desired.

    All previous years’ notebooks must accompany the currents year’s notebook.

    Notebooks should be presented in a binder.

    If the notebook is less than 50% complete, no premium will be given.
