National 4-H Week is set for October 7 -13th. Clubs can participate in a Club Booth, Display or Lawn decoration contest to help promote 4-H in Branch County. Club leaders need to call the MSU Extension Office to sign their club up. Just give us your location / type of your display and the lead contact information and you are all set. These displays will be judged and prize money will be awarded from the 4-H Foundation. Look in your fall enrollment folder for the guidelines for the Display Contest.
Also during National 4-H Week we are having a 4-H Spirit Day on Tuesday, October 9th. This is for kids in your club to wear their 4-H shirts to school... to help promote 4-H. The club leaders will collect the number of kids in their club who participated, call the office with that number and the club with the biggest percentage of members participate, they win a Pizza Party for the club. Leaders have to call in by October 31st with their results. Winner will be announced on November 5th.
