The first Small Animal Meeting is going to be on October 8th, 6:00 p.m. at the 4-H Cabin. The topic will be "Beginners in Small Animals", which will be rabbit, cavy and poultry related.
On November 12, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the 4-H Cabin our next workshop will be held with the topic of "Who, What, When, Where, How to get quality breeding stock." This will be directed to those who are interested in learning how to get breeding stock from known breeders. They will also touch the surface of what you are looking for in a quality show animal. The two workshops above will be counted towards your mandatory meeting requirements.
Additional educational workshops are offered to youth interested in doing rabbit expo or just getting additional rabbit/cavy knowledge. These workshops will NOT count towards their required meetings. They are scheduled for October 22, 29, November 19, and 26th starting at 6:00 p.m. at the 4-H Cabin.
